Big Ambitions EA 0.7 Preview Build 2842 Patch Fixes Store Crashes and Gym AI

The latest Big Ambitions experimental update tackles a wide assortment of bugs, fixing issues with store items, vehicle towing crashes, and gym customer behaviors. Preview Build 2842 also introduces a useful storage capacity indicator for transport vehicles.

Hovgaard Games has rolled out experimental preview build 2842 for Big Ambitions, focusing on fixes for persistent bugs affecting retail, logistics, and gym management. The update addresses multiple item placement glitches and vehicle towing errors.

Retail and Inventory Fixes

Players can now purchase the Checkout Counter (Right) from AJ Pederson while holding a cart. Items in the Ika Bohag store that were previously inaccessible are now reachable. Several inventory items can now be correctly placed on desks, including cheap coffee machines, books with bookends, stacks of books, decorative shampoo, decorative papers, graphic tablets with screens, and standard graphic tablets. NY Distro now sells ZanaMan phones, and wall-mounted barbells can be grabbed from Essentials Appliances. Logistics deliveries now properly limit items to the correct box size.

Vehicles, Transport, and GPS

Hand trucks, flatbeds, and vehicles now display a "Storage is Full" indicator. Using autopark no longer flags players as parked illegally, and vehicles can now drive into warehouses properly. The truck repair shop no longer triggers crashes after calling a tow truck. Factory Supply Depot drive-in stores no longer say "click to enter" while on a vehicle, drive-in store product signs feature easier-to-read colors, and GPS addresses now display correctly while driving. Rival screen breaks caused by poached broken employees are resolved.

Gym Management and Customer AI

Gym customers now give proper pricing feedback if the entry price is set too high. Customers no longer use their phones while holding weights, and the original "Keep Calm and Squat On" challenge is properly assigned to a rival. AI characters no longer walk directly through gym mats, and items can no longer be placed on top of gym mats.

General Stability and Quality of Life

While skipping time, players no longer stop working out if they are exhausted. Lights can no longer be attached to desks in a way that sinks them under the floor. Restaurant booths now correctly seat customers. Employee candidate bugs that caused cascading issues are fixed, along with an issue that caused the blueprints page to get stuck when switching between blueprints and the library. Interior Designer achievements now register correctly, activity timers no longer reset to 1 hour randomly, and players can enter the IRS.

Why this patch matters

Build 2842 smooths out frustrating retail and transport roadblocks in Big Ambitions, making everyday management tasks much more reliable.
