Astrea Six Sided Oracles v1.3.218 Balance and Bug Fixes
Astrea Six Sided Oracles update v1.3.218 rebalances neutral items, nerfs high-performing events and blessings, adjusts enemy difficulty across chapters, and resolves several game-breaking softlocks.
Astrea Six Sided Oracles has moved its latest beta balancing changes to the live branch in version v1.3.218. The update targets overtuned events, adjusts anomaly scaling, curbs infinite-turn potential from excessive Draw effects, and eliminates multiple bugs that caused softlocks.
Event and Blessing Adjustments
Several events and blessings have been dialed back to reduce excessive resource generation. The Temple of the Hollow Sun event yields 3 Star Blessings and its Disorder Curse yields 2. Dice Cataloger shifts from a Common to a Rare event, granting 1 Star Blessing for every 5 Safe Die and 1 Epic Die for each 5 Risky Die. Transmutation Circle's option to change Purify to Draw 1 now applies exclusively to non-Starter Dice. Altar of Fractals now offers two choices: duplicating a non-Epic Die from your pool three times, or duplicating any die. Eridanian Gauntlet drops its Starter Purification increase from 10 to 7. Fire Ice Cream reduces its Soul Stigma from 6 to 3, and Hourglass Module drops its percentage chance to trigger Sands of Time while reducing Sands of Time when sentinels trigger it.
Die Face and Neutral Rebalancing
To counter infinite-turn strategies, the frequency of Draw 1 faces on safe dice has been reduced and replaced with Boost. Boost itself has seen its purification decreased from 10 to 5. A new action, Locked Corrupt, prevents rerolls and forging on specific game-breaking dice such as Incorruptible and Hourglass Mastery. Incorruptible and Draw 2 can no longer be forged at shops. Protection Balanced Die has been removed, and Protection Risky Die values have been nerfed. Meanwhile, Lunar Refactor gains improved die values, adding a third Convert face at level 3 and a Convert 1 plus Draw 1 face at levels 4 and 5.
Enemy and Anomaly Scaling
Normal enemies in chapters 2 and 3 feature increased Max Corruption, alongside tougher Corrupted Oracles. Anomalies 7 and 8 have been merged into Anomaly 7, affecting Chapter 3 with increased Max Corruption. Anomaly 8 now increases destroying die and Sentinel Shop costs, limiting players to one die destruction per destroy location. Forge Shop destruction costs increase by 100 per buy, and Sentinel Shop costs scale from 150 to 300. Several encounters receive new mechanics, such as the Dark Aura effect which reduces applied Light Shield.
Bug Fixes and Stability
Numerous softlocks and technical errors have been resolved. These include a softlock during the Corrupted Hevelius battle when repairing both assistants, an issue where Eternal Egg's Boost was removed at the wrong time, and calculation errors involving Orion's orbs and Anomaly 9. Mobile platforms also receive fixes preventing softlocks when opening inventory panels during enemy turns and restoring functionality when canceling die destruction or duplication.
Why this patch matters
Version v1.3.218 brings a comprehensive rebalance to Astrea Six Sided Oracles, curbing runaway draw loops and tightening up event rewards while addressing critical stability issues.
