Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles Beta Update v1.2.205 Overhauls Balance and Anomaly Levels
A beta patch for Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles reworks neutral dice, epic dice, blessings, and anomaly levels across multiple oracles. The update aims to elevate underperforming mechanics and refine overall polish.
A beta update for Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles on Steam targets balance issues across Neutral, Sentinels, Moonie, Cellarius, Hevelius, and Austra mechanics, alongside a revision of anomaly levels.
Anomaly and Mechanics Reworks
Anomaly levels see major shuffling. Anomaly 4 now places a Wound Hex Die into your discard at battle start, pushing shadow mantle effects back to Anomaly 6. Boss and non-boss max corruption increases shift to higher levels, and Anomaly 10 is replaced by harder enemy abilities at Anomaly 8. Stunned status is nerfed so player reroll actions only affect one die, and status triggers now process before light shields and barriers drop, allowing defensive blocks against ruin and nefarious pulse.
Neutral and Oracle Buffs
Neutral forge action costs drop from 100 to 50, and sacrifice points at mysterious fountains match normal shrines. Cryptic Memento is converted to a star blessing without obscure drawbacks. Moonie, Cellarius, Hevelius, and Austra receive widespread dice and blessing numerical buffs, alongside modified face distributions that add draw and purify effects to safe and epic dice while toning down detrimental self-corruption faces.
Bug Fixes and Modding
Modded dice gain a Timeless field for faces, and purge or conjuration actions can now function as second actions. Numerous bug fixes address event triggers occurring with empty inventories, modifiers failing with Hevelius, and incorrect stealth applications.
Why this patch matters
This sweeping beta overhaul gives underpowered dice and oracles a meaningful second chance, though balance remains subject to change during testing.
