Another Eden Begins Steam Update Fixes Boss Progression and Crashes

Version 1.1.3 of Another Eden Begins fixes multiple progression blocks during New Game+ boss fights and improves demo data transfers on Steam.

A new patch for the Steam version of Another Eden Begins targets several progression-halting bugs in New Game+ and later chapters. Version 1.1.3 also smooths out initial demo data handling while developers prepare larger features like a story skip and custom controller mapping.

Progression and Crash Fixes

The patch resolves an issue in New Game+ where defeating the final target of the multi-target boss battle using specific skills after collecting 9 of time's sand stopped progression. Another New Game+ crash tied to using Another Force after certain boss battles is fixed. Additionally, the Chapter 22 boss battle no longer locks up if players attack the boss before it takes an action on turn seven.

Text and Launch Adjustments

Language setting text and several skill descriptions have been updated for clarity. The update also improves the demo data transfer process when launching the game for the first time on Steam.

Upcoming Features

Developers confirmed that future updates will introduce a story skip feature and an option to customize controller button mappings. Release timing for these features will be shared later.

Why this patch matters

Version 1.1.3 is a straightforward maintenance patch that clears away soft locks in New Game+ and Chapter 22 while laying groundwork for requested quality-of-life additions.
