Aion 2 Update Adjusts Skills, Adds Halloween Event, and Improves Abyss Performance
Aion 2 rolls out an update introducing the Halloween event, Spiritmaster and Sorcerer skill bug fixes, and performance improvements for large-scale Abyss battles. The patch also introduces new purchasable cosmetic skins and adjusts server transfer items.
The latest Aion 2 update goes live with combat adjustments, performance optimizations for high-end monitors and dual-graphics setups, and the launch of a multi-week Halloween celebration filled with event currency and unique rewards.
Class Skill Fixes
Spiritmasters receive a fix for Ancient Spirit summons at level 15 or below failing to activate skills properly. Sorcerers benefit from multiple bug corrections where bonus damage failed to apply during combat across elevation differences. Sorcerer Frost Cooldown Reductions now function correctly on uneven terrain, and overlapping Embers or Frostbite effects will no longer prematurely cancel out stronger applications from other players.
Halloween Event and Rewards
The Halloween event runs from October 13 through November 3 for PDT and October 14 through November 4 for CEST. Players can claim daily attendance rewards for Halloween Pumpkin Coins, complete new event missions across the Abyss, Transcendence Dungeons, and Expeditions, and exchange currency with Coin Merchants in Verteron and Altgard. Special items include the Special Halloween Chest, Odyle Energy, and lower Abyss Rift Stones. Candy Key fragments can also be gathered from dungeons to open event candies containing growth pets, Abyss points, and consumables.
Performance and System Improvements
Stuttering during large-scale battles in the Abyss is reduced. Standard stats in the Battlefield undergo adjustments to balance combat duration. Technical fixes resolve incorrect graphics configurations on dual-GPU PCs, eliminate crashes tied to specific refresh rates on 4K monitors, and shorten loading times when using FSR. Steam Cloud no longer saves local graphics settings.
Cosmetics and Shop Additions
A wide assortment of new skins arrives in the store through late November. Armor sets include Monarch of Blood, Midnight Witch, and Midnight Slasher. Class-specific Halloween Night weapon skins are available for purchase alongside Pet: Pumpkin Carriage, Pet: Little Ghost, and Spider Wings. Players can also acquire holiday helms like Dapper-O-Lantern and facial decor using Quna.
