Acts of Blood demo patch v.0.8.8 refines combat animations, adds a push action, introduces an arena, and fixes spawn bugs.
Developer Eksil Team released demo patch v.0.8.8 for Acts of Blood, bringing refinements to combat mechanics, enemy spawning, and character animations alongside a new arena level.
Combat and Animation Updates
Combat mechanics feature a reworked attack combo system, improved attack motion warping, and adjusted hit point balancing. The update enhances overall combat movement, upgrades Hendra's face model, polishes the jogging start animation, and adds new animations for attacks, getting hurt, dying, getting up, and countering.
New Additions
Players gain a new push action by pressing Q or LS for crowd control. The update introduces the Factory Pyramid Arena level and a new outfit set.
Inputs and Bug Fixes
Throwing weapons now requires holding Q or LS rather than a press. In Arena Mode, an issue where enemies stopped spawning is fixed with the addition of a dead zone.
